Electricians – UK Maidstone/West Kent (Ref: UKE)
We are currently seeking additional Electricians to join our Electrical Engineering trading group, J&A Connections, based from our Maidstone office in SE Kent. This opportunity will suit an individual who is based in Maidstone or West Kent region, and can work independently as part of a small, dynamic team.
The position requires a minimum of 3 years experience in Domestic and Light Industrial Electrical Installation, knowledge of Nurse Call Systems and Fire Alarms would be an advantage.
Specific skills/qualifications to include the following:
- Minimum 17th Edition of Wiring Regulations
- Working knowledge of NICEIC Certification Processing and Standards
- Experience in PAT testing
- Experience in Testing, Fault Finding Industrial Control Systems an advantage
- Must be prepared to work a Duty Standby Rota for 24x7 Cover
- Must follow strict Health & Safety and Environmental procedures
- Must provide very high quality of workmanship
- Excellent knowledge of Equipment Installation Standards and Working Practices
- Valid UK Drivers Licence

Traffic Signal Operatives - London (Ref: UKTSO)
Powcom Services currently has vacancies for Traffic Signal Installation / Maintenance / Testing Technicians to join our Traffic & Highway Equipment Group in London. Individuals with experience or certification (valid ECS card with appropriate Sector 8 accreditation helpful) to work in the highway electrical industry are required. Current openings based in London. Salary and benefits competitive and based on experience.
Specific skills for this position include:
- Experience working with Traffic Signal equipment, as installation, fault-finding or maintenance either motorways, highways or urban environments
- Sector Scheme 8 accreditation helpful and ECS Card or Certificate.
- G39 Certificate would be advantage.
- Must understand/follow strict Health & Safety and Environmental procedures. Healthy & Safety and First Aid Training useful.
- Must provide very high quality of workmanship
- Valid UK Drivers Licence
- Ability to work safely on ladders, lift small tools and equipment
- Fluent in English language
- Educational background in Communications, Electrical or Electronic fields, minimum City & Guilds in relevant field.

Sales Executive - Central Europe (Ref: CESE)
Powcom Services is currently seeking a Sales Executive for Central Europe, reporting to the Hungary Operations Manager. The position requires a background in technology with experience in selling business to business. The job is based in Budapest, Hungary but will require occasional travel to customers in neighboring CEE countries.
This is a brand new role and the successful candidate will become a key member of the team. The role requires a commercially astute, results driven deal maker with strong presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills. With a proven history of successful sales development, full participation in determining and executing future sales strategy will be at the heart of the role.
Specific skills & qualifications include:
- Business development and marketing experience; ability to manage the complete sales cycle.
- Build strong customer relationships in order to anticipate new customer needs
- Commercial experience including preparation of quotations, tenders and contract price negotiation helpful
- Customer reporting at senior management level
- University education required; specialisation in telecommunications, electronics or related field helpful
- Formal Sales training helpful
- Fluent in English and Hungarian language; Czech and Slovakian helpful
- Results oriented; outgoing personality with eye for opportunities
- Salary and commission based compensation commensurate with experience.
